Makan Berkah Launches Its Community Meal Program

A Simple Idea

Makan Berkah was built on the belief that a full plate should not be a luxury. The community meal program serves hot meals every week to neighbourhoods around the group kitchens, prepared by the same team that runs daily service.

How It Works

• Menus planned around fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Volunteers from the community cook and distribute alongside our staff.
• Surplus ingredients from daily service are used before they are wasted.

Joining In

Residents and local organisations are welcome to volunteer. Details are published at each kitchen, and JW Media documents the program so partners can see exactly where support goes.
